Gympie Regional Council has officially opened its Request for Proposal (RFP) for a six-year, ~$300 million Water Capital Works Program (CWP) Alliance.
This long-term partnership represents a significant investment in the region’s water security, treatment assets, and network resilience. For industry, it is a rare opportunity to collaborate directly with Council on shaping the future of water services across a rapidly growing community.
What The Council Is Seeking
The Gympie Regional Council is looking to form an alliance with a skilled, well-resourced design and construction team capable of delivering a complex, multi-year capital program.

Engineering, Research & Technical Services
Water & Sewerage Infrastructure
The projects include:
Pipeline Construction
Reservoir & Dam Construction
Water & Sewage Pump Station Construction
Engineering Consulting Services
Environmental & Sustainability Services
Scientific Research Services
Building Construction Materials & Services
Program Pipeline (Years 1–3)
Indicative total program value in early years:
FY27: $55.4M
FY28: $69.3M
FY29: $26.4M
And across Year 1 alone:
Water Networks: 12 projects ($12.5M)
Water Treatment: 8 projects ($26M)
Wastewater Networks: 12 projects ($8.1M)
Wastewater Treatment: 5 projects ($8.8M)

RFP Opens: 17 November 2025
Closes: 12 December 2025 (5:00pm AEST)
Supplier Query Cut-off: 2 December 2025
