Our support has included setting up a panel to improve responsiveness to get BAC the people they need faster.

Terminal 3

Positioned between the two runways, Terminal 3 will seamlessly integrate with our current terminals, while also safeguarding options for connectivity to Brisbane’s transportation network. It will be built for the 2030s, providing an accessible, efficient, and inclusive passenger journey.

International Terminal Expansion

The International Terminal Security and Retail Upgrade will offer a new retail experience and a streamlined passenger journey including simplified check-in and a new screening process, with passenger and baggage screening equipment aligned to meet government-mandated standards. This will allow passengers to leave most of their items in their luggage. The project includes extensive new retail, food and beverage offerings and a re-imagined duty-free experience.

Aerobridge Replacement Project

This is an $83M Guaranteed Maximum Price Contract, with the first existing gate shutdown in May 2026 to allow works to commence. To avoid disturbance to the busy flight schedule they will be done one by one and whilst the gates are shut other refurbishment and upgrade works will be undertaken with the Terminal including the fixed links and other opportunistic upgrades including sprinkler systems.

Aeromedical Facilities 2026

This new Aeromedical Precinct will bring all providers together into one innovative world-class hub, with a transfer facility providing patients on the move with the very best clinical care possible. The 18,700m² multi-tenanted facility will feature new patient transfer facilities, state-of-the-art hangars for fixed and rotary wing aircraft, administration areas, and a medical base for regional patient and donor transfers. 

Travel Lighter, Breeze Through Security

The International Terminal Security Upgrade will offer a new retail experience and a streamlined passenger journey with a simplified check-in, bag-drop, passenger screening and border processing all on the same level. The project includes extensive new retail, food and beverage offerings and a re-imagined duty-free experience.

Shop, Dine & Explore

The duty free shopping experience will be re-imagined as well as a complete overhaul of all specialty, travel essentials, foreign exchange and food and beverage offerings. 13 new and refurbished dining options that reflect Brisbane’s foodie scene or are inspired by global flavours will land at the International Terminal.

Behind the Scenes

The International Terminal's Baggage Makeup Area will be upgraded with a brand new, energy efficient, best-in-class conveyor system and Standard 3 technology baggage screening equipment.
